7月1日由香港民間人權陣線發起的七一大遊行，在炎熱天氣下進行

【大紀元7月3日訊】大紀元記者鄭麗駒香港報導／7月1日由香港民間人權陣線發起的七一大遊行，在炎熱天氣下進行，5萬8千名市民堅持由銅鑼灣維多利亞園出發，經灣仔、金鐘，遊行到中環政府總部，表達爭取民主選舉的決心。
公民黨成員、立法會議員譚香文說：「希望政府聆聽市民的訴求，今日很多市民出現維園遊行爭取普選，比上兩年多。可惜政府未能聆聽市民的訴求。希望政府在這方面回應市民普選的訴求。」
一人一票為基本人權
公民黨成員、立法會議員張超雄說：「普選其實很簡單，以一人一票，市民可以直接去選自己要選的特首，選舉整個立法會。其實立法會是需要有一個真正民意代表，一個真正的民主機制，制衡政府。如果特首都是一人一票選出來，市民就會對他有認同感，有聲音直達政策那方面，所以市民要一個基本人權及一人一票。」

遊行人士林太表示，希望盡快普選，對市民公平些，即使經濟如何好，但最終都是要普選。
陸先生則說：「要普選，要爭取普選。特區政府如此聽中共政府說話，中共普選甚麼，它（中共）說08年有普選，點解現今還未有？我真想知道為何曾蔭權完全沒有為香港人爭取，他只是為自己的權力去做，不是為我們香港人去做。本應有個直選時間（表）但現今無了期，《基本法》已經定明了。所以有機會一定要行出來，齊齊一起上街。不滿意中共政府，任意去更改《基本法》……共產黨絕不會有普選，否則就不叫共產黨。」

本著良心為港人做事
有家長帶兩名小朋友出來遊行，希望他們認識到及要爭取普選。她提及數字對那些親共商家來講是很敏感的，他們不希望太多市民上街遊行；當有陳方安生呼籲時他們就不高興。她認為，陳方安生已很大年紀，但都要出來遊行爭普選，她出來遊行對市民都有大的鼓勵，陳方安生個人都很仁慈，為爭取普選，即使有人惡意中傷她也不理會，本著香港良心為市民做事。
遊行人士陳小姐說：「我斷斷續續都有參加遊行，希望爭取普選，就算短期內不能，但都希望有個時間表，告訴我們那個程序，推行普選要有一個程序。」◇
